Plate Genius subscription terms

Basic manual tracking is free. The optional AI subscription provides AI photo estimates, suggestions, answers and AI insights when those services are available.
Price and renewal
The US plans are $1.99 per month or $19.99 per year. Your checkout shows the applicable currency, price, tax and renewal period before you confirm. No free trial is included unless one is explicitly shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled with the store where you subscribed.
Manage, cancel and request a refund
Use Profile → AI subscription to check access and find subscription management. Web purchases use Stripe; use the customer portal or the link in your receipt to manage them. For iPhone purchases, use Apple’s subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewal; paid access normally continues through the displayed expiration date unless the store reports a refund, revocation or other end to access. Refund requests are handled through the original payment provider and its applicable policies; contact [email protected] for help with web billing.
Deleting your account or removing the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it separately before deleting your account if you wish to stop renewal.
Account access and planning limits
Sign in to the same Plate Genius account on each device to use the same AI access. Connect other sign-in methods in Profile before using them. AI outputs and nutrition estimates can be incomplete or wrong. Review them before saving or acting on them. The app supports food planning and does not diagnose or treat a medical condition.
